What is the difference between MOA and MRAD?

Minutes of Angle (MOA) and Milliradians (MRAD) are angular units of measure, basically like inches and centimeters and are linear units of measure. MOA is mostly associated with ‘centimeters to metres’, therefor the angle created by 1 MOA would roughly be 2,5 cm on a target at 92 metres. Units of MRAD are given in .1 increments.

What is the difference between SFP and FFP?

SFP (Second Focal Plane) and FFP (First Focal Plane) indicate where, inside the scope’s optical system, the reticle is located.

Reticles in the First Focal Plane are mounted ahead of the major optical train, meeting up with the image you’re viewing BEFORE everything is magnified. The image and reticle get larger and smaller in unison, while maintaining the same scale to one another, no matter the magnification.

Reticles in the Second Focal Plane are mounted oppositely and meet up with the image you are viewing AFTER it’s already been magnified. The image will enlarge and shrink with magnification while the reticle will not.
